Weather Learning - Learning about the Water Cycle

Last Friday, the Year 4-6s spent some time revising the Water Cycle as part of our Weather Unit. We used the Hutt Science 'Wonderful Wai' kit to explore water in its different forms - solid, vapour and liquid. Students added dye to ice balls, closely observed the compacted water, and added salt to watch the ice particles crack. We completed water cycle diagrams before creating our own water cycle zip lock baggies on the window. We ended with a water droplet race!
