We are proud to be an Enviroschool
The environment is another classroom at San Antonio School. So much of the learning that happens here is in the garden and at the beach.
On a weekly basis you can find our students planting and tending to vegetables and then harvesting them for use in our hot lunches, supported by teachers and parents.

We're a Silver Enviroschool
A school becomes a Silver Enviroschool by demonstrating that their sustainability practices and programmes have been maintained and extended into new areas. Students are fully involved in the planning and action, and they are contributing to a wider sustainable community. San Antonio School celebrated becoming a Silver Enviroschool in Term 2 2017.

We have a weather station which teaches the students about good growing days and provides further learnings through our science and mathematics lessons.
Community Initiatives
With the beach right on our doorstep, the children tend to a designated area where we remove washed up rubbish and plant native grasses to encourage healthy and errosion-free sand dunes.
